My parallel world is sourced by memories, dreams and popular media.
Hands and feet depict new lands discovered, habitats lived, dreams remembered.
Corners turned, roads trodden, with new horizons,
amongst crumbling verticals and street paraphernalia,
my strange world, my parallel world.
This parallel domain is the habitat of shaman, alchemists, architects, chieftains and judges not unlike our real world.
Their journey, searching for an Arcadia lost, inhabitants turned nomads, relying on their parallel hands, their parallel feet in their parallel world.
This work is a visual representation and documentation of their search. It runs concurrently and has parallels with mine as a human being and artist.
I graduated in Fine Art Painting at Brighton University in 2013 and continue with my daily practice.
