ConfusicaI stand inside It’s so quiet Yet the birds outside Sounds like Piccadilly Circus And I think That I will sit back Have a cup of tea Whilst The busyness Continues All around me Though isn’t it so During times Of calm The wheels keep Moving Whilst you’re in One place Then you look Outside And they’ve already decided What’s your fate And you feel that you’ve missed out Or you’ve been Too late Because you look Outside And things have changed And you don’t understand And you try to catch up But they’re on to the next thing Already And you think Well it was a nice cup of tea And what was I late for anyway At least the robins seem charming And the shine on a magpie’s coat Is so mesmorising When it catches the light, But I see They’re up to no good Trying to steal Get an upper hand Grab more land It gets out of hand The seeds get sown The birds get louder They call it Confusica The wheels keep turning Confusica’s learning Confusica Confusica
